Chief Returning Officer

The Students’ General Association invites students who are interested in applying for the Chief Returning Officer position for the February General Election to submit a resume and cover letter, by email, to Amanda Lachapelle (sga@laurentian.ca) by 12:00 pm, Wednesday, Jan.17th, 2018. The successful candidate will be selected at the Students’ General Association Board meeting on Monday, Jan. 22nd, 2018. Part-Time from Jan. 23nd, 2018 to February 23rd, 2018 (approximately 15 hours per week, flexibility with demand, a potential paid extension if needed).

President & Chief Executive Officer

The Students’ General Association invites returning students who are interested in running for President to submit their candidacy through our nominations form (https://sgaage.typeform.com/to/f1IkYY) by 12:00 on January 22nd. Candidates must also be present at the SGA/AGÉ Board Meeting at 5:00 pm on January 22nd, 2018 for ratification. Full-Time (30 – 35 hrs per week), from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019. Salary of $30,000 per year.

Vice President of Student Life

The Students’ General Association invites returning students who are interested in running for Vice President of Student Life to submit their candidacy by filling out the nomination form (https://sgaage.typeform.com/to/f1IkYY) by 12:00 pm, January 22th, 2017. Candidates must also be present at the SGA/AGÉ Board Meeting at 5:00 pm on January 22nd, 2018 for ratification. Full-Time May 1, 2018 to September 3, 2018; Part-Time September 4, 2018 to April 30, 2019 (20 office hours per week). Salary of $23,500 per year.

Vice President of Policy and Advocacy

Full-Time May 1, 2018 to September 3, 2018; Part-Time September 4, 2018 to April 30, 2019 (approximately 20 hours per week, flexibility with demand). Salary with an hourly wage of approximately $14/hr + benefits

Senator

The Students’ General Association invites returning students who are interested in running for Senator tosubmit their candidacy through our nominations form (https://sgaage.typeform.com/to/f1IkYY) by 12:00 on January 22nd. Candidates must also be present at the SGA/AGÉ Board Meeting at 5:00 pm on January 22nd, 2018 for ratification. This position is only open to current SGA/AGÉ students returning for the 2018/19 academic year. There will be four Senator positions available in the General Election. Candidates may not be nominated for more than one elected position. (This is not a paid position.)
