February 27th
Each year, LAWLU hosts its signature Minute-Mentoring event, offering Law and Justice students the chance to connect with a wide range of legal professionals, including police officers, lawyers, and more. This event provides students with a unique opportunity to explore diverse career paths, whether they are planning to attend law school or still deciding on their future in the legal field, by creating a platform for meaningful conversations, questions, and valuable insights.
March 1st
LAWLU is excited to announce the launch of our first ever Mock Trial Program! This exciting opportunity will allow participants to acquire hands-on experience in trial advocacy. In the Winter Term, LAWLU will host an in-house mock trial competition, open to all students at Laurentian University.
March 14th
The LAWLU Gala is a signature event hosted at the Caruso Club designed to celebrate our members and to look back on our accomplishments and the memories we made throughout the year. Open to all Laurentian University students, the evening will feature a meal, music provided by a professional DJ, a speech, awards, gift basket draws and a dance.
