Health & Dental Plan
U-Pass
The health and dental plan provides benefits to all full-time SGA/AGÉ students attending Laurentian University and to part-time and online students who choose to opt-in. These benefits are specifically designed with students in mind and are updated on a yearly basis.
The three student associations at Laurentian University (SGA, AEF & GSA) work together with the City of Greater Sudbury to provide students with a discounted bus pass during the school year (September to April).
Graduation Photos
Food Bank
We offer on-campus graduation portraiture, in the Student Centre, through JORO Photography. SGA/AGÉ members do not pay a session fee and receive 15% off their package order. Everything from scheduling sessions, to reviewing proofs and ordering prints can be done through their website.
The Food Bank acts as an emergency food access point for students. As with most food banks, it is designed to be a good source of supplement to get through times of urgent need. This service is free for students across campus, from any association, but is meant to be used only as an emergency service, not on a long term basis.
Student Centre Members Only Area
The members only area in the Student Centre is located downstairs and is only accessible to SGA/AGÉ students and AEF students who have paid the opt-in fee. This area is filled with amenities including technologically equipped study and lounge spaces, game equipment, a clubs room, free library, microwave, printer, lockers, and more! Use your student card to access this VIP area!
